What Did Jesus Say About Repentance?

Matthew 4v17

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 9:13

But go you and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Matthew 11v21

Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

Matthew 12v41

The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Matthew 21v29

He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

Take heed to yourselves: If your brother trespass against  you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.And if he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to you saying, I repent; you shall forgive him.
